FAQs
Why is there a registration fee?
We are serious about finding the best talent and only want artists to audition who areserious about their careers. This is not a TV show, and the registration fee keeps people from auditioning who just want to have some fun and be in the “spotlight” for a kick.
Also, there is a tremendous cost to offer this opportunity to you, and this fee helps cover some, but not all, of those expenses. It is truly a registration fee, and is meant to keep this contest on a professional level, from the artists as well as the staff. If you are serious about your career, this fee is a nominal expense for the amazing opportunity that we are presenting here.

The judges will be judging you not only on how well you sing, but also on stage presence, poise, and we will be looking for the singers who are different, and stand out. Song selection is the most important part of round 1. Be sure to select a song that really shows who you are as an artist, and showcases the good features of your voice.
How should I dress for my audition?
You should dress for the audition very much like you select your song. You want to dress in way that emphasizes who you are as an artist. There is no dress code, but be wise, make sure what you say with your wardrobe is what you want us to hear.
What is Artist Development?
Artist development includes vocal training, song writing and production, and stage training. Artist development is all the training you will need to be ready for the major labels. Every major artist has received artist development training and most continue the training long after they have made a name for themselves and have a career. Look at it this way, even Tiger Woods still has a swing coach.
What is a showcase?
A showcase is when the artist performs in front of the label for consideration of signing. The showcase is normally granted to very few artists and means that the label is seriously considering that artist. It is one of the final steps along the path to a signing.
