If you auditioned for Round 1 and made it through… we will be calling those who made it through round 2 to let you know your day of competition. If you are a round 2 contestant and haven’t heard from us call us at 501 771 4822…

The rest of the GATS competition will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in downtown North Little Rock.

We’re installing new LED stage type lighting in the main sanctuary, bringing in the Infrared PA & brand new air conditioning is already in place and running in tip top shape… come hungry, a vendor will have plenty of great food concessions available for the masses of fans you’ll be bringing! make it dinner & the show!

Once you are notified of your competition date you will receive the following information…. it’s the same for everyone only the date changes…

Each night we’ll have approximately 20 singers competing for the right to move on to round 3.

Contestant arrival time at studio 5:30 pm

Show starts at 7 pm

Contestants of course get in free, they can bring one support “peep” for free (parent, best friend, spouse, etc) everyone else is $5 admission.

You’ll be competing in front of a live audience and crowd response WILL factor into the judging….. so how do you assure you get a big crowd response?…. (bring a lot of people….!!!) your mission is to market yourself as an artist worth coming to see, family & friends from school, church, work, the neighborhood… you’ll be competing against 19 other people that night.. $5 to hear 20 great singers is a BARGAIN no matter how you slice it…

Now, what to prepare for… you’ll be singing to tracks that we will provide… also in the next few days we’ll be posting a song list on the website, www.thegreatarkansastalentsearch.net , once it is posted contestants are to download it, choose ONE song, bring the song title and number listed beside the song to your round 2 check in and off we go!!!
